Very glad I have power here in the low 100s on the Upper West Side. Currently there’s NO internet service though so Work From Home won’t be possible until it’s fixed. Something about @ConEdison prioritizing getting power up over @Ask_Spectrum internet nodes. Hope it’s fixed soon.

@NickyCurly @ConEdison I asked if they would reimburse & the guy told me I wasn’t guaranteed to get it back but to fill out a form online. I look and it’s for groceries. I said have you ever seen someone get a hotel reimbursed off this form? He goes, “no”. If he was in front of me, I’d snapped his neck

@ConEdison Power Lines are underground in my area. I’ve never had a storm-related outage. Other areas serviced by @ConEdison overhead lines fall during storms. For the sake of your customers, make the infrastructure investment #BuryTheLines Money, Time & Lives will be saved in the long run.

1) Since complaining to @ConEdison yielded no results, here is the story for public consumption. After an emergency, ConEd responded and was forced to move vehicles out of the way. They use subcontractors for this purpose. At first all I see is someone breaking into my car.

So @ConEdison just decided to raise our rate from 7 cents to 17 cents.. during winter. This is some evil stuff. Are we expected to freeze during blizzards? Our bill literally doubled within the last month and both of us were out of town for a majority of the month..
